Last month, two unannounced LG devices carrying the model numbers LS970 and E970 entered the rumor mill, reportedly heading for Sprint and AT&T, respectively. Both devices are back in the spotlight today, and while they're still unannounced, we may now have an idea of when that could change. A listing for both the LS970 and E970 has popped up on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group's website, showing that both devices are made by LG and will feature LTE connectivity. Interestingly, the page also claims that the devices "will be available on North America Market around 2012.10.31."
The leaked LG phone sightings don't stop there, as the E970 has also been spotted in a User Agent Profile that lists the phone's display as having a resolution of 1280x768, which lines up the leaked specs that showed up last month. Additionally, the E970 has reportedly appeared in a NenaMark benchmark test. As for the LS970, an alleged page for the Sprint-bound phone has popped up on the AnTuTu benchmark site, but it lists the device as having a 1280x720 display rather than the 1280x768 that has been previously rumored.
Other purported specs for the LS970/E970 include a 4.67-inch display, quad-core Qualcomm Krait processor, 13-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front shooter and Android 4.0. The device(s) sound like they have the potential to impress when they arrive, although with release dates rumored for around Halloween, it could be a while before we're actually able to put them through their paces.
