Sprint has announced that it'll be launching the Samsung Galaxy S III on June 21, but if you're looking to pick up a new smartphone on the cheap, you may want to direct your attention to the Galaxy S III's older brother. According to a newly-leaked Sprint document, the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch will soon be dropping to $99.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate. The price drop is reportedly scheduled to go down on June 21.
While the Epic 4G Touch (known as EpTouch to its friends) may not be the freshest smartphone on the Sprint block, it does still have some notable features, like a 1.2GHz dual-core processor that Aaron described as "incredibly fast" and a large 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display. It's also worth mentioning that Sprint has said that the Epic 4G Touch will be getting bumped up to Android 4.0. Not a bad combo of features for a soon-to-be $99.99 smartphone. How many of you already own the Epic 4G Touch?
