Just a couple of days after we got our first peek at the Sprint-bound LG LS860 "Cayenne," more details on the upcoming 4G LTE slider have made their way online. The folks at BriefMobile have gotten hold of a photo of what's allegedly the exposed backside of the device, complete with the battery and camera in view, along with a rundown of the LS860's purported specs. According to the leaked list, the LS860 will feature 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, 8GB storage, 1GB RAM and a 1,700mAh battery. The list also claims that the LS860 will feature a 4-inch 480x800 IPS display and Qualcomm's MSM8960 chipset, meaning that the phone may be coming to market with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor (which the previous rumor claimed could be clocked at 1.2GHz).

So when might we see the Cayenne add some spice to Sprint's shelves? According to BriefMobile's source, the Android 4.0-powered LS860 is due to launch sometime in the third quarter. That may be a bit of a bummer to those of you in the market for a QWERTY slider on Sprint that were hoping for a closer (or more concrete) release date, but considering the Now Network's current lineup of keyboarded slider phones, it may not be a bad idea to hold out for the LS860's arrival.
