Remember the LG VS930? This mystery device first appeared on our radar thanks to a benchmark for it that listed the phone as being Verizon-bound, and now it's shown up once again. This time the VS930 has been spotted in a listing on the Global Certification Forum's (GCF) website, and while there's not a ton of information about the phone on the page, it does show that it features both GSM and HSPA radios, suggesting that it'll be a global device once it finally hits the market. The VS930 was certified by the GCF on May 21st.

As for just what the LG VS930 is, well, we'll have to wait until Verizon makes the thing official before we know for sure. However, its model number suggests that it's a successor to the Spectrum (VS920) and Revolution (VS910). The folks at Droid-Life think that this could be a Verizon variant of the LG Optimus LTE II, a theory that's certainly plausible. The specs listed in the VS930's aforementioned benchmark (1280x720 display, 1.5GHz processor, ICS) line up with what's found in the Optimus LTE II, and the LG Spectrum was a Verizon variant of the original Optimus LTE, so it's possible that Big Red may have selected the Optimus LTE II as the Spectrum's follow-up. There's no word yet on when the VS930 may be introduced, but we've heard that the Optimus LTE II could hit the U.S. later this summer, so it may not be too much longer before all is revealed.
