The rumors of a larger iPhone have popped up once again this morning, with a new report suggesting that Apple has begun ordering screens larger than the ones used in the current and previous models of the device. According to the Wall Street Journal's sources, Apple has ordered displays that are "at least 4 inches diagonally," which is a bump from the 3.5-inch screen size that iPhone users are accustomed to. Apple is said to be working with three display manufacturers (LG, Sharp and Japan Display) on the larger screen. There's no mention of what the exact size of this rumored larger screen may be.
Rumors of a larger iPhone are nothing new, and this is the second time this month that it's been suggested that this will finally be the year that Apple bumps the iPhone's screen size up from 3.5 inches. We probably won't know whether or not these reports are true until Tim Cook and Co. are up on stage announcing the new handset, but if Apple is indeed planning to increase the size of the new iPhone's display, it seems unlikely that the company will go larger than 4 inches. What do you all make of this latest rumor? Do you think Apple will indeed release a larger iPhone later this year?
