U.S. Cellular has revamped its voice, messaging and data plans for single lines, so if you're on U.S. Cellular or thinking about jumping to it soon, take note. When it comes to voice and messaging, customers can choose from a trio of packages:
Customers interested in adding a data plan to one of those plans have a handful different options. Finally, U.S. Cellular touched a bit on the subject of LTE, saying that its 4G rollout is underway in Iowa, Maine, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and Wisconsin. The carrier also reiterated it plans to have half of its customers covered with LTE coverage by the end of 2012.
It's good to see that U.S. Cellular's new plans offer a variety of different minute packs and data plans. The inclusion of a 10GB tethering data plan is especially nice for the data-hungry among us, as the highest data tier that used to be offered by the U.S. Cellular was 5GB.
