Turns out Samsung's not the only manufacturer that's decided to take the wraps off of a new high-end Android handset today. LG has announced the Optimus LTE2, and while several of the device's specs are still unknown, the ones that LG has revealed so far aren't too shabby. Those include a True HD IPS display (size and resolution not mentioned), LTE connectivity, Android 4.0 beneath LG's custom UI, a 2,150mah battery and a full 2GB of RAM. LG says that the Optimus LTE2 is due to hit Korea in mid-May, but there's no mention of when or if other countries will see the device.
Obviously one of the most notable features of the Optimus LTE2 is its 2GB of RAM, which is double the amount that many high-end Android phones currently on the market tout. That spec alone is sure to draw some attention to the Optimus LTE2, but it'll be interesting to see what other features that it's got under its hood, like which processor LG has decided to include.
