Looks like we've got another device to add to the list of Sony-made Xperia phones with food codenames. We've already seen the Pepper and Kumquat, and now images of a new device known as the ST21i "Tapioca" have emerged. The photos were posted by Techblog.gr and show a smallish handset with a raised display similar to that of the Xperia sola. You can find a shot of the ST21i Tapioca resting next to Sony's 4.3-inch Xperia S below.
So what kind of specs does Tapioca feature? If the rumor mill is to be believed, the ST21i packs a 3.2-inch 320x480 touchscreen, 800MHz processor, 3-megapixel camera, 512MB RAM, 1,460mAh battery and Android 4.0. Those are somewhat entry-level features, but it's nice to hear that the device may come packing Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, which is something that could help the Tapioca to stand out from its competition when it launches. Unfortunately, exactly when that'll happen is still a mystery. More on the ST22i Tapioca as we get it.
