Less than two months after U.S. Cellular launched its own Samsung Galaxy S II variant, the carrier has begun offering a white version of the handset. The white Galaxy S II features the same specs as the black model and is now available from U.S. Cellular for $179.99 after $100 mail-in rebate and two-year contract. U.S. Cellular's also offering the Mesmerize at $49.99 on contract, and the Galaxy S Aviator is still available for $99.99 after $100 mail-in rebate and two-year contract for customers in a U.S. Cellular LTE coverage area. U.S. Cellular subscribers not in an LTE area can expect to pay $199.99 after $100 MIR and two-year contract for the Galaxy S Aviator.
U.S. Cellular has also added a trio of Android handsets to its prepaid roster: the HTC Hero S, Motorola Electrify and Samsung Galaxy S II. The Hero S is the cheapest of the bunch with its $299.99 price tag, and the Electrify and Galaxy S II are both priced at $399.99.
It's not a shock to see U.S. Cellular add a white version of its Galaxy S II to its lineup considering that other U.S. carriers with the Galaxy S II have done the same, but it's good to see that folks on USCC have the option of snagging a pearly white GSII as well. The latest additions to U.S. Cellular's prepaid lineup are also welcome, and for folks that don't mind passing up a subsidy and going the prepaid route, the pricing for the Hero S, Electrify and Galaxy S II seem pretty good. If you think so too, grab your wallet and head on over to U.S. Cellular's website or into your local store and get to shopping.
