T-Mobile announced back at MWC that it would be offering the HTC One S here in the U.S., complete with 42 Mbps HSPA+ support. What the Magenta carrier has remained silent on, though, is exactly when it'll begin placing the One S on its shelves. It looks like T-Mobile may finally be ready to spill the beans soon, as the company has sent out invites to an event taking place on April 18th at which the One S will be the guest of honor. Attendees will get a chance to spend some quality hands-on time with the 4.3-inch device, and although there's no guarantee that T-Mobile will be sharing launch details there, it definitely feels like we're getting closer to launch.
As with most other high-profile device launches, the rumor mill has spit out a possible release date for the T-Mobile One S. Earlier this week some leaked T-Mobile images showed that the device may be set to arrive on April 25th, which is one week after this event will be taking place. We've yet to hear any word yet on pricing, but with T-Mobile's shindig a week away and a launch that's purportedly just two weeks out, it's looking like the mystery surrounding the One S's availability information will soon be over.
