Last week Sprint announced that LG Viper 4G LTE pre-orders would be kicking off April 12th, aka tomorrow, but so far we haven't heard a peep about when the thing will actually be launching. The good news is that Sprint has apparently shared the Viper's launch date with its employees. As you can see in the image above, the Viper is tentatively set to launch on Sunday, April 22nd. As a reminder, Sprint has already said that the Viper will be priced at $99.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract.
In other Sprint leak news, photos sent to Android Life show that store tags for both the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and LG Viper 4G LTE have infiltrated at least one Now Network retail location. The placards offer up spec information on both handsets, but unfortunately there's no mention of launch or pricing details on either. Their arrival does suggest that we're getting closer to the debut of both devices, though.
Both the LG Viper and Samsung Galaxy Nexus feature support for Sprint's upcoming LTE network. Sprint has already named six cities that'll be part of its initial LTE rollout and has said that the network will be going live by the middle of the year, but so far we've yet to hear a peep concerning a more precise launch date. The good news is that it may not be much longer before we're able to get our hands on some of the devices that'll eventually run on that network in the Viper and Galaxy Nexus. How many of you plan on picking up one of Sprint's LTE-capable devices?
