Late last month AT&T raised some eyebrows when it revealed that it wouldn't be pushing the Windows Phone 8107 update, which contains a handful of bug fixes, to the WP7 customers on its network. The good news is that AT&T recently took to its community forums to confirm that it is cooking something up for its Windows Phone users. The AT&T Community Manager explained that the carrier is planning an upgrade that'll contain the enhancements found in the 8107 update "and more." Exactly what that "more" is remains a mystery, as does the timeframe of release for this new update.
While I'm sure some folks would prefer AT&T just push the 8107 update rather than waiting for this new upgrade that'll have 8107 bundled in, it's good to see AT&T keeping us in the loop on its update plans. Now if we only had an idea as to when this new software will be pushed to the carrier's update-hungry Windows Phone users. We'll let you know more when we do, folks. How many of you are currently packing a Windows Phone device on AT&T?
