We haven't heard much about the HTC Rhyme since it debuted on Verizon last September, but today it's been revealed that the charm-toting handset will soon be receiving a new software update. The update, which weighs in at 67.8MB, is of the maintenance variety and will bump the Rhyme up to software version 2.20.605.3 710RD. As usual, we've got the full changelog ready for your perusal:

No, it may not contain any ice cream sandwiches, but both HTC and Verizon have said that the Rhyme will be bumped up to Android 4.0, so that's something for owners to look forward to. Getting back to this 2.20.605.3 update, we've yet to hear when the roll out will be kicking off. However, Verizon promises that it's "Coming Soon!," so you Rhyme users may want to begin keeping an eye out. Whenever it ends up making its way to your neck of the woods, remember to give a shout in the comments below to let us all know.
