Good news for owners of the Motorola DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX. Motorola has begun sending emails to the owners of both devices that are members of the Motorola Feedback Network, inviting them to partake in an "early preview of a new software release," aka one of those soak tests that we've come to know and love. As usual, there's no mention in the email of precisely what the new update is or what goodies it may contain.
So what could Motorola be preparing? We'll have to wait until the update begins rolling out before we know for sure. Considering that a leaked image surfaced earlier today and pointed toward April 4th as the day that both RAZRs would see Android 4.0, though, there's definitely a chance that that's what this preview is for. If it is indeed Ice Cream Sandwich, it'll be interesting to get a good look at how Motorola tweaked the new version of Android and how it compares to the leaked shots of the DROID RAZR's ICS upgrade that emerged last month. Stay tuned, DROID RAZR folk!
