Still waiting for Ice Cream Sandwich on your Nexus S? If a new report is to be believed, it may not be long before you're sinking your teeth into Google's latest dessert. According to one of Engadget's "trusted sources," the Android 4.0 update will be pushed to both the Nexus S and Nexus S 4G sometime "in the next few weeks." No other details on the rollouts were given.
Google originally began rolling out ICS to the Nexus S back in mid-December, but the push was paused shortly thereafter. Owners of the Nexus S 4G on Sprint haven't even gotten a shot at an Android 4.0 update yet, save for a leaked version that surfaced earlier this year, so it's good to hear that those users may finally be getting an official ICS bump soon. Obviously it's still not clear exactly when the Nexus S's ICS update rollout will begin save for the vague "next few weeks" window mentioned earlier, but you can bet that we'll pass along more details just as soon as we get our mitts on them. Stay tuned!
