Hey, you. Yeah, you, Sprint customer that's eligible for an upgrade. If you've been holding onto your upgrade for a while but haven't found a compelling reason to use it up, Sprint may soon make you an offer to make you finally pull the trigger. According to a document leaked to SprintFeed, Sprint will begin offering select upgrade eligible customers a $50 or $75 instant discount to entice them to pick up a new phone and sign a new two-year contract. The offer, which is apparently set to run from March 23rd through April 27th, will not be able to be used toward the purchase of an iDEN device or an iPhone.

Sounds like a decent deal, no? It's kind of a bummer that the discount won't work on all of the handsets in Sprint's roster, but if you've been waiting for just the right time to upgrade to one of the other phones on the Now Network, I'd say receiving this offer from Sprint is a sign that it may be time to treat yourself to a new device. There's no word on how Sprint will decide which customers will receive a discount, so if you're on Sprint and you've got an upgrade that's waiting to be used, you may want to keep an eye on your inbox (both the email one and the snail mail one) starting next week.
