Huawei generated quite a bit of buzz at CES last month with its super-thin Ascend P1 S Android handset, and now it looks like the manufacturer is attempting to drum up some interest in another one of its smartphones ahead of MWC. A series of four close up shots of a handset dubbed the Ascend D1 Q has been released by Huawei, offering a glimpse at different parts of the device's body. You can find the three other images of the Ascend D1 Q down below.
Not much is known yet about the Ascend D1 Q itself just yet, but it's been suggested that the device may be packing a quad-core processor, a feature that some feel is hinted at by the "Q" in the D1 Q's name. We can see that there's a slight camera bulge on the Ascend D1 Q's backside (with a nice red accent), though the shooter's megapixel count remains a mystery. We've heard that Huawei has been hard at work at a "Diamond" series of smartphones that'll outperform the Ascend P1 and P1 S, though, and it looks like the Ascend D1 Q could be one of the first handsets in that lineup.
