Well what do we have here? It seems that several photos of an unannounced HTC smartphone have surfaced, depicting a handset that features a DROID Incredible-like raised backside. There's no carrier branding to be found on this mystery phone's body, but one of the images shows what looks exactly like Verizon's 4G LTE logo, hinting that this handset is likely Big Red-bound. Another photo shows that the device is running Android 4.0.1 beneath Sense 4.0 and is also packing a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera, VGA front-facing shooter and 1GB of RAM. The source of the leak also claims that the display is of the AMOLED variety.
And that's about the extent of what we know about this mystery handset so far. The original PhoneArena report doesn't mention which carrier the device might be headed for, but the combination of the 4G LTE logo and the back plate that's reminiscent of the DROID Incredible suggests that we could be looking at a new member of the Incredible family, especially considering how long it's been since the Incredible 2 debuted. No word on when this phone could debut, but the good news is that we've got plenty of leaked photos to keep us busy until more information comes out.
