Own a Nexus S 4G on Sprint? Hungry for some Ice Cream Sandwich? Then this news should be right be up your alley. A new Android 4.0 ROM for the Nexus S 4G has been leaked over at xda-developers that brings with it a bump to Android version 4.0.4 as well as a new baseband. So far, users that have installed the leaked ROM seem to be pretty happy with its performance, and WiMAX is said to be working just fine.
Google kicked off the Ice Cream Sandwich rollout for the GSM Nexus S last month, but so far we've yet to get word on when the official push for Sprint's Nexus S 4G will begin. Considering the stability of this leaked ROM, though, many speculate that the upgrade may not be far off. If you just can't wait a second longer and are comfortable with things like loading new ROMs onto your phone — remember, we're not responsible if you try to flash this and bork your phone in the process — you can find everything you need at the xda link below. Just don't forget to come back and tell your buddies at PhoneDog how the ROM is working for you when you're done, alright?
