Been jonesing for a new tablet on Sprint? It looks like you may soon be getting just that. A newly-leaked Sprint document that's being passed around has revealed the ZTE Optik, an Android 3.2-powered slab that's due to be available for direct shipment (like through Sprint's website) starting February 5th for $99.99 on contract or $349.99 without. Those of you that prefer a brick and mortar buying experience will have to wait for the Optik to hit Sprint stores on March 11th. So what kinds of specs can we expect to see from this ZTE-made tablet? Here's a rundown:
Overall it looks like the Optik should make for a decent Android tablet. The lack of 4G connectivity may be a turnoff for some, but at $99, it's tough to complain too much if you're in the market for a cellular-enabled slate. There's no word yet on when Sprint will be making the Optik nice and official, but when it does, you can bet we'll let you know. Until then, the full document showing the device off is available for your perusal below.
