Been drooling over the Motorola DROID Xyboard tablets since they were unveiled last month, but the thought of forking over cash to Verizon for LTE connectivity just doesn't fill you with the same excitement? Then you may want to mosey on over to Motorola's online store, where the company has now placed Wi-Fi-only Xyboard models up for pre-order, with devices expected to begin shipping the week of January 18th. Pricing for the Wi-Fi Xyboards looks like this:
That's $20 less than you'll be paying for the comparable LTE-equipped Xyboard at Verizon on contract. However, going the off contract route at Verizon would cost you an extra $200 over just picking up one of these Wi-Fi-only models. Specs for the Wi-Fi versions look to be the same as their LTE counterparts, save for the 4G connectivity and DROID branding, of course. If all of that sounds good to you, the "Add to Cart" button is awaiting your click at the Motorola link below. Just don't forget to let us know in the comments below if actually decide to pull the trigger and hop on a Xyboard.
