Leaked XML files are all well and good when it comes to leaking unannounced products, but you know what's even better? Photos of said products. That's the story of the Acer Iconia Tab A700, which we first got wind of last month thanks to an XML file that revealed some of the Android tablet's specs, including a 1920x1200 display and quad-core Tegra 3 processor. Now Russian site Nomobile.ru has gotten hold of a non-functioning model and has decided to share photos of it with the world. The site adds to the A700's rumored spec sheet by claiming that it features a 5-megapixel camera, front-facing shooter that's HD-capable, microSD card slot, micro-HDMI and micro-USB ports, SIM slot, and a beefy 9,800mAh battery in a package that weighs 1.43 pounds.
If you've finished reading the A700's feature list and are now thinking "WANT," you may not have to wait long before getting your mitts on one. Nomobile.ru alleges that Acer's quad-core slate will be shown alongside the already-official A200 at CES next month, with a launch coming in March or April. We'll have to wait to try the A700 out before making any final judgments, but with its high-res display, quad-core processor and fairly clean look, Acer may just have a competitor on its hands with this one. More as we get it.
