For those that picked up a shiny new Samsung Galaxy Nexus or HTC Rezound for Christmas, you may be struggling today to take advantage of the phone's full capabilities. For the third time this month, Verizon LTE users in certain parts of the nation are experiencing data outages. Though my review units just jumped back onto 4G LTE (literally, as I was writing this post), I've been stuck with 3G connectivity for most of the day. What's worse, some users haven't had any data connectivity at all.
Verizon has built an outstanding reputation when it comes to network reliability, though that could change with these recent outages. What's more, it obviously doesn't bode well at a time where Verizon is touting their 4G LTE network and associated devices (and even offering a data promotion for those willing to jump on the new network). I'm curious; will Verizon's 4G LTE outages make you reconsider upgrading to a 4G LTE device? Or are you considering another network altogether?
