It's been quite a while since we last heard anything about the LG Fantasy, but today the handset is back in the news thanks to a pair of photos that have surfaced. The images were posted by xda-developers user "untitledmangxg," who claims to have purchased the device from a tester in Romania. So what exactly is a Fantasy made of? If untitledmangxg is to be believed, the phone's got a 4-inch IPS display, which is described as "very nice," and Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. The photo of the Fantasy's backside shows what looks like a 5-megapixel camera, but the blurriness of the image makes the megapixel count a bit tough to figure out for sure.
Way back in July, we were treated to a leaked press render of the Fantasy that does look like the photo of the front of the actual device. Sadly, there were no spec details accompanying the aforementioned July leak, so all that we've got to go on right now is the information posted today. The source of the photos above claims that the Fantasy is due to arrive sometime in Q1 2012, so we should be learning more about the device if that release window is accurate. Stay tuned!
