Fusion Garage made quite a bit of noise earlier this year with its "Who is TabCo?" ad campaign that ultimately led to the unveiling of the Grid 10 tablet and Grid 4 smartphone, but it appears that the company has now fallen silent and may be on the verge of disappearing completely. Several folks are reporting that attempts to contact Fusion Garage for support are leading to extremely slow responses, or sometimes none at all, and one customer says that they're still without their Grid 10 despite the fact that the order was placed five weeks ago. Those customers aren't the only ones having trouble getting hold of Fusion Garage, though, as McGrath Power, the company's PR firm, says that Fusion Garage has been uncommunicative for some time. This has led the PR firm to make the decision to stop representing Fusion Garage completely.
Normally this is the part where we'd go to the Fusion Garage website to try and dig up some answers. However, that's not really an option in this situation, because navigating to Fusion Garage's website brings up only a sad database connection error message. All of this combined doesn't paint a pretty picture for Fusion Garage and its Grid 4 and Grid 10, the latter of which has already been having a rough life due to some less than glowing reviews. Exactly what'll happen next in this story is about as mysterious as Fusion Garage's TabCo campaign, but we'll be sure to keep you updated as we learn more.
UPDATE: Looks like Fusion Garage's site is back online, but the company's online store is still down. We still haven't heard from Fusion Garage on the matter, but we'll let you know more when we do.
