Samsung Galaxy S II owners on T-Mobile have a nice surprise to wake up to this morning, as T-Mo has revealed that the handset is due to get a bug-fixing update that starts rolling out today, December 14th. Hot on the heels of updates to the Sensation 4G and Amaze 4G, the Galaxy S II's new update brings with it a bump up to Android 2.3.5, software version T989VUVKL1, and also includes enhancements to the GSII's caller ID, battery, and Wi-Fi calling capabilities.
Sound good? T-Mobile Galaxy S II owners can get the update either over the air or using Samsung's Kies Mini software. For those of you that'd prefer the OTA route, T-Mo says that the new software will be rolling out "over the coming weeks," so you may have to put your patient cap on if you don't get the update right away. Once you do, though, don't forget to shout it out loud in the comments below.
