Remember the LG Prada K2? The device made its rumor mill rounds a couple of times earlier this year both in photo and video leaks, and now the latest collaboration between LG and Prada has been made official. Dubbed the Prada phone 3.0 by LG, this Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread handset will be hitting store shelves in January for an undisclosed price. (With the Prada name attached, don't expect it to be cheap). Specs include a 4.3-inch 800x480 Nova Plus display with Gorilla Glass, 1GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel shooter, 1080p video capture, 8GB built-in storage, microSD slot, HSPA+ connectivity and a 1540mAh battery in a body that measures 8.5mm thick. LG has promised an update to Ice Cream Sandwich sometime in the future.
Overall I'd say that the latest addition to the Prada line of devices looks pretty snazzy, though I suppose that isn't much of a surprise considering that one of the most well-known fashion companies in the world was involved in its creation. We're unlikely to ever see the Prada 3.0 ever hit the shelves of a U.S. carrier, but hey, at least we can gaze at the press images above and imagine how well the Prada 3.0 would match up with the outfits in our closet.
