Last weekend we were treated to our first peek at the LG Spectrum, Verizon's follow-up to the 4G LTE-capable LG Revolution that hit back in May. Those images were rather small, but tonight Pocketnow has managed to get hold of a new pair of shots that offer a larger, much clearer look at the Spectrum. Additionally, the site has purportedly gotten the lowdown on the device's feature list. Here's the kind of heat that the Spectrum is said to be packin':
Sound familiar? Many of the these specs are also found on AT&T's Nitro HD, which isn't a total shock since the Nitro not only happens to be a high-end LG-made LTE handset like the Spectrum, but also because these newly-leaked renders look a lot like the Nitro. The release date of the Spectrum is just about the only aspect of the device that remains a mystery, but Pocketnow suggests that we could be seeing it much sooner than the February 14th date on the widget in the above image. Considering how many other 4G LTE devices have hit Verizon recently and will be coming soon, though, here's to hoping that Big Red decides to hold off on the Spectrum for just a bit, both to prevent us from getting overwhelmed with a tidal wave of new products and to give the products that do come out a little time in the spotlight.
