The Galaxy Nexus may be the Verizon-bound Samsung phone that's getting the lion's share of our attention as of late, but it's not the only Sammy device we'll be seeing hit Verizon's shelves in the near future. A newly-leaked document sent over to Droid-Life shows that the still unofficial Samsung Illusion will be available for purchase beginning November 23rd, aka this Wednesday. It looks like the Illusion will be available via Direct Fulfillment (phone and web sales) on that date, with an in-store launch set for January 12th.
As far as specs go, the Illusion's packing a 3.5-inch 480x320 display, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 3-megapixel camera, 512MB RAM, 2GB built-in storage, 2GB microSD card, 1,500mAh battery, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread beneath Samsung's TouchWiz UI. There's still no word on how much interested customers will be ponying up for the device, but its entry-level spec sheet suggests that the Illusion won't make your wallet significantly lighter. Good news for everyone on your holiday shopping list, right?
