Looks like it's time to hop aboard the Samsung Galaxy Nexus news train once again. Today we've got two tidbits of information for you, so settle in and grab a hot beverage. First up, it seems that the Verizon-specific Galaxy Nexus recently made a pit stop in the FCC on its trek to retail. The filing confirms the presence of Verizon EV-DO and LTE connectivity as well as NFC support, though none of that is really much of a surprise at this point. The good news is that we can now mark another item off of the Verizon GalNex's pre-release checklist.
Speaking of release, the folks at Android Central have gotten hold of a photo of a Verizon inventory system showing that there's a large number of Galaxy Nexus inventory currently headed for Verizon stores. The image doesn't offer up any kind of solid release date information, but if you're waiting on the edge of your seat for news on Big Red's Nexus, this is at least something to keep you going.
So there you go, Nexus fans. We're still very much playing the release date guessing game, but at least with today's news we know that the Galaxy Nexus is slowing but surely making its way to store shelves and our pockets. How many of you are still holding out for a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon?
