Earlier this week a leaked Verizon document showed that the Motorola DROID RAZR could be launching on November 10th, the same date that pre-orders of the device will ship by, but now it looks like the folks at Big Red may have a different date planned in an attempt to be clever. A pair of images sent to Android Central show that the DROID RAZR could be launching on November 11th, 2011 (11/11/11). Verizon's wit doesn't end there, though, as it also looks like the carrier wants the RAZR released at 11:11 a.m. on the 11th.
Although it's not clear whether or not Verizon will actually wait until 11:11 AM on the 11th before selling you a DROID RAZR, it definitely looks like you'll finally get a chance to get your paws on the newest member of Motorola's RAZR family. Now all we need is an official announcement on the launch from Verizon, which should be along any day now. We'll pass along the deets as we get them.
UPDATE: Looks like it's on for 11/11/11. Verizon just posted a new teaser for the DROID RAZR to its official YouTube account and, at the end of the 30-second clip, it shows the date "11.NOV.11." Looks like we've got just about one more week to go. The full video is below.
