Yesterday saw AT&T unveil a pair of 4G LTE smartphones yesterday in the HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket, but it looks like it may not be long before AT&T adds another LTE-capable device to its roster. A Samsung tablet bearing the model number SGH-I957 recently passed through the FCC and, as you can see beneath the Samsung logo in the image of the device above, it features an AT&T 4G LTE logo plain as day on its backside. There's no mention in the FCC filing of what size display the I957 is packing, but it's believed to be a 10.1-incher.
Considering that both Verizon and T-Mobile have already launched or will be launching their own Galaxy Tab 10.1 variants, it wouldn't be much of a shock to see AT&T launch a version of the slate to call its own. Precisely when that might happen is still up in the air, but hey, at least it'll be nice to have another LTE tablet option on AT&T for those of us that don't want to pony up for an HTC Jetstream. More on this device as we get it.
