The HTC Rezound is expected to be the guest of honor at HTC's Beats-flavored event this Thursday, but it looks like Verizon just couldn't wait any longer to out the device. What you see above is an ad used in a Verizon store to promote some of the carrier's 4G LTE-enabled handsets and right there at the bottom is the Rezound, just chilling like nothing is out of the ordinary. The image shows that the device will indeed be known as the Rezound when it hits stores and that it's packing red accents and Beats By Dre earbuds. Will it also come preloaded with some sweet Joe Jonas jams too? It never hurts to hope.
For those of you that'd like a reminder, the rumored Rezound spec list includes a 4.3-inch 1280x720 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, front and rear cameras (2 and 8 megapixels, respectively), 1GB RAM, Beats Audio, and Verizon 4G LTE connectivity. That's definitely not a bad feature set, although the Rezound will be facing some stiff competition for the top spot of Big Red's Android lineup from the Motorola DROID RAZR and Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It's a good time to be a Verizon customer in the market for a new smartphone, no?
