Continuing on the Windows Phone trend, Nokia this morning announced the Lumia 710, the low-cost variant of the Lumia 800. Powered by a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, the Lumia 710 has a 3.7-inch LCD with Nokia's Clear Black Technology, 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capabilities. Like the Lumia 800, the 710 will include access to Nokia Maps and Nokia Music.
The Lumia 710 will be available in Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore, and Taiwan later in the year for approximately €270 prior to carrier subsidies, with additional markets picking it up in 2012. Having spent some time with both this morning in London, the Lumia 710's build quality isn't as elegant as the 800's, but it's still stylish and should bring Windows Phone to the masses. Out of Nokia's two Windows Phone product announcements, which one appeals to you the most?
