Just a couple of days ago we heard that T-Mobile may be making the LG DoublePlay available online starting on October 26th. In case you hadn't yet noticed, that's today, and the DoublePlay is indeed now up on T-Mobile's website. Pricing for the dual-screened slider is set at $99.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate, while those of you that don't want to sign away two years of your mobile life can expect to pay $399.99 full retail.
Want a DoublePlay spec refresher? The phone's packing a primary 3.5-inch 480x320 touchscreen and secondary slide-out 2-inch 320x240 touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel camera, 720p HD video capture, 14.4Mbps HSPA+, 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM, 1,500mAh battery, and Android 2.3.4 beneath a custom user interface. Not a bad feature list for folks in the market for an Android phone with a hardware QWERTY keyboard, especially considering its $100 on-contract price tag.
