ASUS chairman Jonney Shih gave us a brief peek at the quad-core Transformer Prime last week during the AsiaD conference, but if that glimpse wasn't enough to satiate your tablet hunger, you'll be glad to know that shots of the Prime in the wild have leaked. The images show off the device's front and aluminum-covered backside and also give us a good look at its keyboard dock. Unfortunately there aren't any photos actually showing the Prime in action (save for a peek at its lock screen), but this is the closest look at it we've gotten so far, so we can't be too upset.
The original ASUS Eee Pad Transformer has been one of the more popular Honeycomb tablets to hit the market, and when combined with the fact that the Transformer Prime is packing a quad-core processor, that means that there's already quite a bit of hype surrounding ASUS's latest contribution to the world of Android slates. The good news is that ASUS is planning to officially unveil the Transformer Prime on November 9th, so we don't have much longer to wait until all is revealed. Who's excited?
