Heads up, Symbian folk: Nokia has announced that the Symbian Anna update is now available in the U.S. via an over the air install or through Nokia Suite. The new software can be installed on the Nokia N8, C7, C6-01, or E7 and includes goodies like a new set of icons, a virtual portrait QWERTY keyboard, and an improved browser to name a few. A full list of improvements can be found right here.
It seems most everyone is looking forward to Nokia World and the Finnish firm's first foray into the land of Windows Phone, but it's good to see that Nokia is still hard at work on pumping out major updates to the Symbian crowd at the same time. Nokia has said that it will be bringing the Symbian Belle update to the N8, C7, C6-01, E7, and X7 as well, though we've yet to get word on when that process will begin. If you're an owner of one of the four Symbian handsets being updated today, be sure to give us a shout in the comments below and let us know how Anna's working out for you. We'll be right here waiting until you do.
