The Samsung Transform Ultra has been available on Sprint's prepaid Boost Mobile service for a couple of weeks now, but now it looks like folks that have been eyeing the landscape slider but are unwilling to ditch the Now Network will also get a crack at it. Sprint today announced that it plans to offer the Samsung Transform Ultra, though no pricing or launch details were given. What we do have, however, is the Transform Ultra's spec list:
Sounds like a decent entry-level Android smartphone to me. It's good to see these affordable handsets launching with Gingerbread out of the box, and we always love seeing more QWERTY-packin' Android devices come to market to satisfy the needs of physical keyboard addicts everywhere. We'll pass along Transform Ultra availability details as we get them.
UPDATE: Sprint has said on its official community blog that its Transform Ultra is now available in "national retail outlets" and will hit Sprint stores on November 13th. Pricing is set at $79.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract.
