Shenanigans. That's the first word that comes to mind when I think of Verizon and Motorola holding an event at 12:00 Eastern, and Samsung and Google (who, ironically, is in the process of buying Motorola), hold a competing event in Hong Kong ten hours later. That's the wireless world we live in, folks, and while it leaves us shaking our heads at times, it's loads of fun to cover!
I'm live on location in New York City for the Motorola/Verizon event, which is all but sure to be the unveiling of the Android-powered Motorola DROID RAZR on Verizon. But who knows? In their effort to upstage their new parent company and Samsung, it's possible that we could see something else. A Motorola XOOM 2, perhaps? Or maybe a Motorola DROID KRZR (hey, gotta keep all of the old names alive)?
It's anyone's guess, so join me starting at around 11:45 AM Eastern/8:45 AM Pacific as I liveblog the event. Bookmark the page and let me know your predictions in the comments section below!
