Sprint will be offering pre-orders for the iPhone 4S starting October 7th and will be launching the new device on October 14th, just like AT&T and Verizon. Sprint will also be launching its own 8GB iPhone 4, but unlike AT&T and Verizon, details on that device's availability have been scant. That changes tonight, though, as Sprint is now taking pre-orders for the iPhone 4 while supplies last. The device is available in both black and white and is priced at $99.99 with a two-year contract ($549.99 full retail). Customers that pre-order the iPhone 4 will be charged for it immediately, and Sprint says that it'll "do [its] best" to get deliveries out on October 14th or 15th.
So there you have it, Sprint folk. The iPhone 4 may not have some of the spiffy features found on the iPhone 4S like the A5 processor and 8-megapixel camera, but it's still a nice handset for Sprint users looking to join the iOS ecosystem on the cheap. Plus, it's got that whole unlimited data thing going for it, which is something that Verizon and AT&T's iPhone 4 variants can't claim. If you're a Sprint user that decides to pull the trigger on an iPhone 4, be sure to give us a shout in the comments below!
