Last month we learned that LG was prepping two new myTouch devices for T-Mobile thanks to some prematurely uploaded YouTube videos. Now the handsets are back in the news, but this time they're nice and official. Dubbed the T-Mobile myTouch and T-Mobile myTouch Q, both handsets are manufactured by LG and are aimed at first-time smartphone buyers with several features aimed at making the move to these advanced devices an easy one. The myTouch is a full touch handset with a 3.8-inch display, front-facing camera, and Swype preinstalled. Meanwhile, the myTouch Q features a slightly smaller 3.5-inch screen but also boasts a slide-out physical keyboard. The new pair of myTouches also share a number of specs, including:
As far as color selection goes, the myTouch will be available in both black and white while the myTouch Q will be donning gray and purple. T-Mobile expects both devices to be available in time for the holiday season, but it stopped short of offering up any other sort of launch or pricing information. (We've heard they're due next month.) As usual, we've got the full press release waiting for you down below.
