Apple finally took the wraps off of the iPhone 4S today and, just like the rumors had claimed, Sprint finally joined AT&T and Verizon on the list of U.S. carriers that offer an iOS-powered smartphone. The 4S won't be the only Apple handset coming to the Now Network, though, as Sprint will also be launching the $99 8GB iPhone 4. When that launch will be happening is still up in the air, but Apple's official store promises that the device is "coming soon."
Obviously the news that Dan Hesse and Co. are getting the iPhone 4S is pretty huge, but it's good to see the cheaper iPhone 4 joining Sprint's roster as well. Not only does the 8GB iPhone 4 offer customers another configuration to choose from, it also gives folks the chance to join the Sprint iPhone party that can't/won't drop $200 on a 16GB iPhone 4S. So now we have to ask: now that both the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 are coming to Sprint, unlimited data and all, how many of you are planning on picking one up?
