The Samsung Galaxy S II's U.S. invasion kicked off last weekend with the arrival of Sprint's Epic 4G Touch, and now we know when the second of the trio of Americanized GSIIs will be making its way to market. AT&T just announced that its Galaxy S II variant will be launching on October 2nd for $199.99 with a two-year contract. As with AT&T's other smartphones, the Galaxy S II will require at least a $15 per month data plan.
As a quick refresher, AT&T's Galaxy S II variant offers a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processor, 8-megapixel camera, 1080p video capture, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, 16GB storage, HSPA+ connectivity, 1650mAh battery, and Android 2.3 beneath Samsung's TouchWiz UI. Is all of that enough to convince you to open up your wallet and pull the trigger? Just in case you're on the fence about making the purchase, we're here to help!
