There have been a lot of questions surrounding AT&T's proposed acquisition of T-Mobile ever since it was announced, but the one that seems to pop up most frequently is from T-Mobile customers wondering what will happen to their rate plans if the deal is approved. An image posted by our bros at TmoNews has answered that question, at least partially. As you can see above, T-Mobile customers will be allowed to keep their plans post-merger for as long as they'd like, even after their contract ends.
So that's good news. Of course, this leak still leaves us wondering what'll happen when it comes time for customers with a T-Mobile plan to upgrade to a new device. Will they still be able to keep said plan or will they need to sign up for a new AT&T plan to get a discount on a new handset? That's the $39 billion question. We're sure to learn the answer at some point soon, but until then, go ahead to drop your predictions in the comments below.
