Remember that rumor from yesterday that claimed that the Samsung DROID Prime features the model number SCH-i515 and is coming to Verizon this October? Well, a CDMA device carrying that very model number was spotted today on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group website. Before you get too excited, there aren't any spec or launch details revealed on the page. The only information given up by the Bluetooth SIG's site is that the SCH-i515 is a Samsung-made CDMA device destined for North America with Bluetooth 3.0 tech.
So is the SCH-i515 really the DROID Prime? Is it really coming in October? All valid questions. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of concrete info to answer them just yet. We will mention, though, that there have been a few different rumors all claiming that Samsung's cooking something big up for Verizon. Exactly which parts of them (if any) are accurate remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure: with the likes of the DROID Bionic, Vigor, and possibly this DROID Prime all in the pipeline, the next month or two could be pretty wild for folks on Big Red.
