Well what do we have here? The device you're looking at up above is said to be the Samsung Impulse 4G, an Android smartphone destined for AT&T. Of course, whenever we see "4G" tacked onto an AT&T product name, we wonder whether it's referring to LTE connectivity or just HSPA+. The good news is that, according to BGR and its "trusted source," the Impulse 4G is packing support for LTE. In fact, the report out of BGR this morning claims that the Impulse 4G could very well be AT&T's first LTE-enabled smartphone. No other information about the handset was given. A photo of an alleged case for the Impulse's rear can be seen below.
Obviously there's still a lot about the Impulse 4G that is up in the air, but just the news that it could feature LTE connectivity when it hits AT&T's shelves is likely enough to get a lot of folks interested in this DROID Charge-ish device. More on the Impulse as we get it.
