Remember the LG Enlighten, the device formerly known as Gelato Q and Optimus Slider that's bound for Verizon? We were treated to our first peek at the landscape QWERTY slider earlier this month and now the Enlighten's back in the headlines. The folks over at Pocketnow managed to score the Enlighten press shots you see above and below, which give us some more early looks at the handset both closed and open.
For those of us that need a spec refresher, the Enlighten features a 3.2-inch 320x480 touchscreen, 800MHz processor, 3.2-megapixel camera, 150MB internal user memory, 2GB microSD card preinstalled, and Android 2.3 running beneath LG's custom UI. The Enlighten's said to be launching August 25th, aka this Thursday, for an unknown price. Expect to hear an official announcement from Verizon either tomorrow or Wednesday if that release date holds true.
