It was just under a week ago that we were finally brought face to face with the mysterious HTC Ruby for T-Mobile, but today we've already got the beginnings of a spec list for the Android-powered handset. Our friends at TmoNews have gotten word that the Ruby will feature a 4.3-inch qHD (540x960) display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel camera around front, 1GB RAM, dedicated camera and video buttons, and Bluetooth 3.0. No word quite yet on when the Ruby will be arriving, but TmoNews does have launch info on another handset: the Samsung Hercules. According to the site's sources, the Hercules will indeed be coming in late September, although an exact date wasn't mentioned.
Sounds like a pretty impressive little handset, no? We're still missing a few important details, like what kind of version the Ruby will come preinstalled with and exactly when it's going to hit T-Mobile's shelves, but I'm sure that information will be along shortly. What do you all make of the Ruby now that we've got an idea of its spec sheet? Think it might have a place in your pocket in the future or is the Hercules still the object of your desire?
