HTC Bliss earns its FCC stamp of approval

Today the HTC Bliss, the new Android phone that's reportedly going to be targeted toward women, took an important step in it's pre-release lifecycle today: it passed through the FCC. Carrying the model number PI46110, the Bliss was given the FCC's blessing for use on the 850 and 1900MHz flavors of CDMA used by Verizon. It'll also include support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, like pretty much every other smartphone on the market.

Earlier this month a Verizon leak pegged the Bliss as coming on September 29th, and so far that date looks like it could very well be legit. Unfortunately, we're still waiting to get a good peek at what the Bliss is actually going to look like, as the only thing we've got to go on so far is this super-blurry leaked render. Now that the Bliss has passed the FCC and its potential launch date is inching closer, though, expect to see the device pop up in leaks more frequently.
