And the FCC parade continues. Hot on the heels of the discovery of HP's 7-inch TouchPad Go tablet inside our favorite government agency, the Samsung SGH-i927 has also been spotted getting the green light from the FCC. Most likely destined for AT&T, the i927 features compatibility with the 850/1900MHz bands and GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/HSPA support as well as a 1500mAh battery. As you can see in the diagram up above, this mystery device is also features a very Galaxy S II-like form factor.

There's been a bit of confusion as of late as to whether the SGH-i927 will be AT&T's Galaxy S II/Attain or this mystery QWERTY slider. The FCC filing doesn't come out and explicitly say "Yes, this has a QWERTY keyboard" or "No, you fool, this is a touch-only device," but the test report does mention testing the i927 "slide in setup for the Cellular band and slide out for the PCS band," so we may be looking at the phone with a sliding landscape keyboard. A report from BGR last month claimed that the QWERTY slider is due to launch "soon," so we'll keep our eyes peeled for an announcement from AT&T or Samsung over the next few weeks.
